We want your experience at Blythe Island Baptist Church to be first-class all the way! From amazing children’s ministries to inspirational worship and messages, our weekend service is a place where you can encounter the life-changing presence of God. Below you will find some helpful information on what to expect when you arrive at a service. We want your visit to feel as comfortable as possible, so be sure to contact us  if you should have any questions; you can also ask a guest services member on the day you arrive.

WHAT TO EXPECT ON SUNDAY

Our worship services are modern, passion filled and uplifting. You’ll experience powerful live modern worship and an inspiring, engaging & relevant message filled with truth and hope.

We value
truth over trend,
authenticity over performance,
relationship over results,
excellence over perfection,
relevance over tradition,
creativity over complacency,
Christ above all else.

WHAT IS SUNDAY LIKE?
Each weekend at Blythe Island Baptist Church, you’ll find a relaxed and friendly atmosphere with exciting, modern worship music and Biblical teaching. Children are well-cared for in a loving, quality nursery and fun-filled Kids service. Whether it is your first time at BIBC, or you’ve been attending for years, you never know what to expect during our 1 1/2 hour-long worship experience. From the moment you walk in the door, until the moment you leave, we are committed to a creative, compelling, challenging presentation of God’s truth.

WHAT WILL HAPPEN WHEN I VISIT FOR THE FIRST TIME?
From the moment you pull into the parking lot, you’ll be made to feel at home. First-time guests are invited to take advantage of reserved parking on the front row directly in front of the Worship Center. Then, our greeters will be poised and ready to give directions or answer any questions you may have. If you have children, you’ll want to take advantage of our safe and secure children’s services designed just for them. As you enter the worship center, our ushers will welcome you and direct you to your seat. Then, sit back, relax and enjoy the service!

WHAT IS THE MUSIC LIKE AT BIBC?
It’s our hope that the music at BIBC would captivate you, draw you in, and prepare your heart to encounter Jesus every week! We’ll use multiple musical styles and songs, performed with world class excellence. We’ll play songs you’d hear on the radio. We’ll sing hymns that have been sung for centuries and songs from other churches around the world; all with the goal of helping people just like you encounter Jesus.

WHAT DO I WEAR TO ATTEND YOUR SERVICES?
You’ll find everything from shorts and flip-flops to jeans & button-ups at our weekend services. Come in what is comfortable for you, because BIBC is not about what you look like or what you wear.

WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED?
We are located at 170 Cut Off Road, Blythe Island GA. Click HERE for directions.

WHAT TIME DOES CHURCH START?
Our Sunday morning service starts at 10:00 am. We would recommend getting there 15 minutes early to settle in & grab a cup of coffee. If you have kids we recommend arriving 20 minutes early to allow time for check-in.

WAIT! THERE’S COFFEE?
Yes! We have coffee available before service so you can spend some time getting to know some of the great people that attend BIBC.

WHAT ABOUT MY KIDS?
You’ll find our first-class programs for your children, from birth – 5th Grade. Our Children’s ministry, located in the Education Building down the walkway from the Worship Center, offers a warm, colorful and caring environment for your precious ones, with lessons designed for each stage of development. HOW CAN I MEET OTHERS AND GET CONNECTED?
There are many ways to get involved. You can begin by attending BIBC101. BIBC101 is held once a month. It’s a great chance to hear what Blythe Island Baptist Church is all about. You’ll be able to meet the pastors, meet other leader & ask as many questions as you would like about BIBC. Check our calendar for our next BIBC101 class. Another great way to connect is through SMALL GROUPS. In each of these, you can build friendships, learn more about the life of our church, and have the opportunity to grow in your faith.

WHAT ARE SMALL GROUPS?
Small Groups are an important part of BIBC. In fact, you haven’t fully experienced the church until you’ve experienced a Small Group. Small Groups allow you to meet other members and develop relationships that will strengthen your relationship with God. As our church grows, smaller groups allow us to stay connected, and there’s bound to be one that’s just right for you. Learn more about why we’re big on Small Groups, or find a group to visit by clicking HERE.
